EXPLORE

Rugby School Nigeria will be the Rugby School Group’s third international sister school.

Located at the heart of the world-class development of Eko Atlantic in Lagos, Rugby School Nigeria will be a day and boarding school for students aged 11 to 18.

Opening in September 2025, the school will now welcome its first cohort of students into both Year 7 (age 11+) and Sixth Form (Year 12). This exciting development reflects the outstanding progress of the school’s construction and project teams, whose dedication has ensured the campus is ready to receive pupils at both entry points.

Year 7 students will experience a broad, balanced and forward-thinking curriculum rooted in the values of the Rugby Learner Profile. Alongside core academic subjects, students will engage with the arts, languages, and personal development, all within an environment that champions curiosity, confidence, and character.

Pupils at Rugby School

The Sixth Form will offer a dynamic A Level programme for day students aged 16+, preparing them for top universities and the world beyond school. Teaching and learning will be shaped by Rugby School UK’s renowned ‘Whole Person, Whole Point’ philosophy – an approach that nurtures academic ambition, individual growth and strong moral character.

Rugby School Nigeria aims to synthesise the best of the British education system with the rich, diverse culture of Nigeria and Africa more broadly – creating a warm, inclusive, and transformative educational experience.

And we’re only just beginning. In September 2026, Rugby School Nigeria will expand to offer boarding and a full range of year groups, building on its commitment to deliver a truly world-class education in a uniquely Nigerian context.
